Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what's needed to run the software, your business data belongs to your business, we don't sell data to anyone, and we don't run advertising trackers. The details follow.
1. What this covers
This policy covers tillfront.com and the Tillfront applications (the Command Center, store register, ordering portal, and related services). It applies to visitors to this website, to the businesses that use Tillfront, and to the people those businesses give logins to.
2. What we collect
- Account information — names, email addresses, and business details for the logins on an account (owner, store, and customer-portal logins).
- Business data you enter — catalogs, prices, customer records, invoices, orders, sales, employee time entries, routes, and tax settings. This is your data; we store and process it solely to run the Service for you.
- Contact form submissions — the name, business, email, and message you send us through this website.
- Technical basics — server logs (IP address, request time, pages) kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting. This website sets no advertising or analytics trackers.
3. What we use it for
To provide and support the Service, to respond when you contact us, to send service-related email (invoices your business sends, password resets, account notices), to keep the Service secure, and to meet legal obligations. That's the list. We do not sell personal information, and we don't use your business data for advertising.
4. Who else touches the data
Tillfront runs on established infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and authentication — where account and business data live |
| Netlify | Website and application hosting; contact form processing |
| Resend | Sending service email, such as emailed invoices |
| Cloudflare | Domain name services |
| Google Fonts | Typefaces on this website (your browser requests them from Google) |
Beyond these processors, we disclose information only if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of Tillfront and its users.
5. A note for portal users and store staff
If you sign into a customer portal or a store register, the business that gave you the login controls that account's data — your orders, your time entries. Questions about that data go first to that business; we process it on their behalf.
6. Cookies
The applications use the browser storage necessary to keep you signed in and to make the software work. This marketing website sets no tracking cookies.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep account and business data while an account is active. When a business leaves, we provide an export on request and then delete the data from the live system; residual copies in encrypted backups age out on the backup schedule. You can ask us to correct or delete personal information about you at any time, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is controlled per business and per role at the database level, and we review access controls as part of maintaining the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but security decisions here are made like it's our own business data — because it runs our own business too.
9. Children
Tillfront is business software for an age-restricted trade. It isn't directed at anyone under 21, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify account owners by email or in-app notice. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
11. Contact
